Have forgotten already why I was browsing thro' Windows directory, I'm
having no problems tho'. This folder "SoftR" caught my eye and I have been
unable to find much that makes sense to me on Google.

Within the folder is :-
SoftR.exe 704kb application
SoftR_F.dll 56kb Application Extension
SoftR_G.dll 56kb Application Extension
SoftR_I.dll 56kb Application Extension
SoftR_N.dll 56kb Application Extension
SoftR_S.dll 56kb Application Extension

Related info is SoftR is an Autograbber Application (which I don't like the
sound of) by Easy Systems Ltd (which I can't find out much about)

Can anyone advise please?
thanks

My bad question - sorry,
- choices were
already easy

better question-
do you know what it does?

that's ok.

unfortunately, i don't
have any true idea.

however, based on one
of the results from below,
it seems that it has either
been identified or perceived
to be spyware:

http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=+Softr.exe&FORM=RCRE

perhaps the company got
busted went out of business
so what you might have is
an inactive spyware.
------------

i would simply delete it
and the folder.

then search the registry
for keys using the makers
name and then with the
file names and delete
them too.

then simply scan/search your
entire disk for those names
too and delete whatever
you find.

one other thing to keep
in mind, is that the files
and keys you delete now,
may have been previously
stored in your restore points.
