Unknown *.exe files?

Pegleg

I found the following files after running Win Patrol, they were listed
in the Services tab window. Cannot find anything on them.

HCMGJDYZLMDBDVC.exe

JOJTZ.exe

Any ideas?

Please submit a sample to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against many different AV vendor's scanners.
That will give you an idea what it is and who recognizes it. In addition, unless told
otherwise, Virus Total will provide the sample to all participating vendors.

You can also submit a suspect, one at a time, via the following email URL...
mailto:[email protected]?subject=SCAN

When you get the report, please post back the exact results.

Thanks for your reply but one problem...when I do a search for these
files the search turns up "nothing found" and looking at the path that
WinPatrol displays for them the files do not exist. It is a temp folder
and WinPatrol says "local file not found".

Files can be marked with the attributes of Hidden and System files.
You have to search for Hidden and System files and/or change the attributes of the files in
the folder so you remove the Hidden and System file attributes.
