I really would perfer not to just ignore it. I have to answer the
questions
what this is and it make the IT look really bad when we can't explain
what
it
is or remove it.

I would suspect that someone in your office has a laptop or other
portable
computer that they are connecting to their home network and that's
where
the
mystery workgroup is coming from. Unless it is a real cause for
concern
for
you (like maybe folks ain't supposed to be doing this!) I would simply
ignore it.

it never was a domain. My assumption is it was a workgroup but i
can't
get
it to go away. Its been like this for as long as I have worked
here.

When I go to browse the network through my network places. I
click
entire
network --> entire contents --> Microsoft Windows Network. I see
our
domain
lets called it domain A. I also see a unkown domain called DVSR.
I
have
know idea where this domain came from and I can't figure out how
to
remove
it. I've been stuck on this issue for months. When I try to
browse
domain
dvsr i get an error stating domain not accesible. Pleas help.
