I know how to set the default properties of controls in a database file, but
is it possible to change the default properties for all databases including
those not yet created? I hate the grey back color and red fore color default
properties of labels and text boxes. Thanks

You can create your own format and save it. Design a form and put all the
labels and controls you expect to use and set the font, etc. for each. Then
save the format style (in Access 2007, it is under Arrange, autoformat, and
autoformat wizard. Select Customize, and give your new style a name. That
will be available for any future db you design.
