You can change the measurement unit under the Regional options in the control
panel.

Now the problem is that you have asked the wrong question! What you really
mean is, how can we convince the luddites that metric measurements are the
default and people have to use them ;-)

You do realize Steve that if any EEC suit reads this he is right now thinking
"365 days, sometimes 366, this wont do, metric years thats what we need"
It'll be your fault when we get them!

That's true. Frightening.
But on the bright side, if the suits read technical forums like this, they'd
have sent the black helos to take us out long ago.
