i use my msn explorer all the time and IE pop ups continue to come up even though i don't open IE myself. is there any thing i can do, i.e uninstall it? thanks

Greetings gonzo,

Internet Explorer is preinstalled by default in Windows XP. It cannot be
completely uninstalled. It is possible for users to remove access to
Internet Explorer to keep in fully functional to ensure some programs that
rely on it. Go to Add/Remove Programs | Add/Remove Windows Components and
uncheck "Internet Explorer".
