Sher,
You're free to call Microsoft for support, and we're likely to be able to
help you get the driver running, but I am very skeptical that the problem is
with the operating system.
You haven't given us enough information to help you much further than that,
however.
I wish I could give you more, but there's just not enough information here
to give you any more specific help.

.I recently install a Digital Xray Machine call ScanX
and uses a USB cable. Now the software that we use is
call Dentrix Image to be able to see xray once is process
thru the digital xray machine. For some reason Dentrix
Image was not getting any info from Xray Machine, after
troubleshooting w/ Tech Support from Dentrix they said it
was because 2 drivers were missing from the Drivers File.
I called ScanX tech support and they said that w/ W2k
Server thats all I need, meaning drivers wise. I called
Dentrix Image software tech again, and after a while of
unistalling and reinstalling the digital xray it got to a
point where I connected the USB cable and as soon as its
searching for the plug and play new hardware I get the
message: "Window could not load the installer for
XrayImage Device". I load the Driver CD to the CDROM and
fallow the step at the end it says: Window could not load
the istaller for XRayImage Device. Contact your hardware
vendor assistant" "Windows was unable to locate a driver
for device". If I go thru the Device Manager to
reinstall the ScanX driver. Under device manager if I
right click on the ScanX which has a yellow triangle
w/black exclamation point and my only choices are Scan
for New Hardware and Property. When I go to Property it
says, "This device is not configured correctly. Code 1."
