Unique Values

I want to show all the unique values in a field. For
instance, I want to show all the states listed in my
database, not only those for which I have multiple
listings.

Select State from YourTable
Group By State

Works like a charm!

 

[Phobos]

SELECT DISTINCT state
FROM MyTable;

P
