I own a IBM laptob.. the T30 and i run Microsoft Windows XP. My problem
is that I reimaged my laptop yesterday and since then every time my
screen saver comes on or my computer goes to standby and I have to log
in again.. the computer does not respond to my password. In fact it
says that i have entered the wrong password when i know this cannot be
true because if i restart my computer and enter the password again it
allows me to log in and see my desktop. Is this because of a virus or
because of something else?. Please help!!!.. Thank You

The easiest way to check if you have a virus is to scan with a current
version av (not earlier than 2005) using updated definitions. Do you
have one?

I would also change your password to something else and see if the
symptoms recur.
