Bear Bottoms

There are lot's of good freeware sites out there, however, this one is a
bit unique in two ways.

1. The main purpose of this site is to sift through the hundreds of open
source and freeware programs available and list only the best ones. I
receive RSS feeds from various sources and get the latest news on new
developements. Comodo Personal Firewall and ZipGenius are examples of
immediate daily updates to this site as they happen.

2. Very easy to sift through the programs and find what you are looking
for. I find this action cumbersome at most sites.

Those two characteristics make this site a simple quick way to find the
best programs along with a bit more.

| Denial? For what?

spammming !

The definition of spam is purposely vague because everybody has his or her
own definition. As it currently stands, spam is in the eye of the beholder.

In this case, my post is relevant to the ng, as I target security progs and
offer progs that really stand out, along with a lot more. It is a helpful
site, only that and I get nothing.

Totally untrue, but spoken like a spammer.

Learn the lesson now, or you will be forever shunned:

Lou

he acts like a professional spammer.
He seems to like to ruin more groups with his never ending bla-bla.
His website has a top ranking place in my host file :-).

http://groups.google.com/groups/sea..."+"bearbottoms1.com"&start=100&sa=N&scoring=d
Shows 141 postings mentioning his web site in the last month. He
certainly likes to spread his, ahem, "pearls" of wisdom.

One guy who thinks he has the expertise to cull out only the best in
all categories of software. Wow, what an ego. But then he is only
reviewing hundreds of free and open-source software and not the
thousands of them. Hell, sourceforge.net has over 130 thousand
projects. If only 10% were active, that's still over 13 thousand.
What we have here is another personal picks site which does have some
value.

I'll make a challenge to you!
