Uninstalling XP after not activating

A computer was given to me with Windows XP already
installed on it. I don't own a copy so I can't activate
it. The days to activate XP counted down and now I can't
use the computer. When I turn it on, I only get an option
to either activate XP or turn the computer off. How can I
uninstall XP from this computer if all I can do is turn it
on and off?
 
boot to a floppy or a CD in DOS mode...then you can clean off the drive and
sart over again.
