I installed a second hard drive. Without understanding
how to set up my dual hard drive configuration the proper
way, I installed Windows XP on the second drive.

Now, when I boot the computer, I get a selection (28
second count down) as to which OS I want to use (both
options are XP).

My guess is that it is detecting XP on both hard drives
(set up as cable select, NOT master/slave). I want to
remove XP from my storage drive without ruining the
computer.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

Dustin, rt click on MyComputer>select Advanced>Startup and
Recovery-Settings>Make sure that the
first WinXP install is selected as Default. That's very important. Then
choose Edit and delete the second
long line which I placed in Brackets in this Example. You can then delete
the second XP install.
