I'm having a problem with several programs. The crux of it
is windows installer 2.0. I need to get it uninstalled in
order to reinstall it ( preferably without destroying the
presently installed software 'records'. The probelm stems
from trying to install kodak's easyshare software. I
aparently thinks the version of installer is wrong but it
isn't. I relaize other install programs can mangle the
directory structure/programs of MSI but this is ridiculus.
I've delisted it from services, remamed the exe and
directories in ALL places. Someting still runs to set it
as a service however it's not in the list (services and
TaskMan)! Can there be more dll's that load 'in the
process' that need to be 'blocked'?

thanks
Alex
