I put recovery console into my Windows XP not realizing
that each time I booted that I would need to tell Windows
whether I want to go directly int windows or run the
Recovery Console. I'm looking foe suggestions as to how
to Uninstall the Rocovery Console. I can not find
anything on it in MSCONFIG, Bios Settings, or control
panel hardware listing.. Any suggestions will be much
appreciated.

Remove this line from your c:\boot.ini file (you might want to back it up
first just in case anything goes wrong)

C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons

If all goes well when you reboot, you can go ahead and delete the cmdcons
folder.
