I have used System Restore because my computer was causing quite a bit of
problems. The good news is that most of those problems are gone, but the bad
news is that the system restored to a point just before or after I
uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Professional. Now, Windows Installer opens EVERY
time I try to open a new window. Furthermore, I found that Adobe Acrobat
Professional is still in my Add/Remove, but when I try to remove it, Windows
tells me the path doesn't exist.
I have managed to find a temporary solution to my problem. I went to
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and downloaded the file on line
94. This is a REG File, which I saved to my hard disk. All it does is prevent
the Windows Installer from continuing with its action. However, this is only
a temporary fix, because I am currently unable to add/remove programs from my
computer. Does anybody know a way that I can remove Adobe Acrobat
Professional from my computer without using Add/Remove?
Thanks,
