I bought version 2.7 NOD32 antivirus software. Before installing the new
version the bundled version that came with Vista needs to be removed but it
isn't an program option to uninstall. How do uninstall the old software? I
don't want to install a new version over the old. I'm told this cause
problems.

You should be able to uninstall NOD32 from Control Panel>Programs and
Features>NOD32 but before you do that open NOD32>NOD32 System
Tools>Information. Scroll down to "Information about installed components".
Under NOD32 For Windows NT/2000/XP2003/Vista/x64-Base if version is 2.70.32
you do not need to uninstall. Just go to Update>Setup and copy and paste the
user name and password from your purchased product in the user name and
password fields.

I haven't explained my situtation very well. I appreciate the replay but
need to describe the situation better. Under Control Panel, Program
Features, NOD32 isn't listed so I don't have the option to delete.

I can see the folder ESET under program files but there is no option to
delete at that location.

Wait minute, I can register the product from this position. Hah. Let me
try that. I have password etc. I think I am well. THANKS
