I run Windows XP (latest updates) + Office Professional
Edition 2003 (latest updates)and have always been using
Outlook Express (OE) for email. A few week-ends ago, I
decided to switch from OE to Outlook 2003. I started my
PC, logged in under an Administrator Account, opened
Outlook 2003 for the first time, installed Business
Contact Manager (BCM) and imported ALL OE information
(i.e. Accounts, Messages, etc) into Outlook 2003 using a
Microsoft Wizard. It worked great. I then switched to the
limited Account that I use all the time except when I
need Administrator privileges and unfortunately clicked
on "No" (instead of "Yes") when asked if I wanted to use
BCM under this limited account. As a result, I am now
unable to run BCM under this limited account. As I could
not fix the problem on the spot, I never used Outlook
2003 or BCM and continued using Outlook Express since
this incident happened. QUESTION: How do I uninstall(1)
and reinstall Outlook 2003 and Business Contact Manager
without messing up the rest of Office Professional 2003?
(1) I am not sure "uninstall" is the proper term: what I
want to do is restore Outlook 2003 to its default
settings and delete all messages, email addresses, etc
imported from OE several weeks ago. After properly
reinstalling and restarting Outlook 2003 and BCM, I will
then re-import everything from OE into Outlook 2003
included many new email messages sent and received over
the last several weeks, and this time I will make sure
and click "Yes" when asked if I want use BCM under my
limited account) Thank you.
