Uninstalling Office 97 in XP Home edtion

What can be done when ADD/Remove Programs reports Registry
Entry Incorrect when trying to remove Word 97 from my P4
Computer and thus refuses to remove it? The program works
OK in admin account and user account but I would like to
remove it from the system and reinstall to correct some
program options. Thanks, Jason Sachs.
 
Hi Jason,

I haven't used 97 in some time but, if memory serves, you can insert the
Office disk and it will ask what you want to do and you can select repair.

Not sure mind you but, it's worth a try.
