Uninstalling Norton SystemWorks 2004

Hey,
I've looked all over for the cure without any luck. If someone could
please help me I would be very grateful.

Heres the deal .. I manually removed Norton after the add\remove programs
wouldn't work and now am using a different AntiVirus program.

The security Center say's I'm still protected by Norton even though it's not
on my computer anymore?

I've cleaned the registry of all norton and symantec entrys and have deleted
all folders also but for some reason the security center still sees Norton?

Any Help to Resove this Issue Will be Greatly Appreciated !!

Thanks but I've allready done this as well as strip my system from as many
Norton reg entries as possible.

Still no Joy here :(

Are any of the Norton or Symantec services still running? Run services.msc
and stop and set to disabled all Norton or Symantec services. HTH
