Is there a way to uninstall KB867778? It got installed somehow, and now
we're running into issues deleting files from the QDLS file system on our
AS/400. (described in: http://www-
912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/0/19811021ea2e581886256f0b0069ea5c?
OpenDocument&ExpandSection=1)

I tried going thru add/remove programs, but that particular KB doesn't show
up there.

Any suggestions?

Scott McNair

Open the WINNT directory and see if you have a $NtUninstallKB867778$ folder.
If so, double click on it, go to the Spunist folder, and run spunist.exe.

D'oh!

Thank you, Doug.

There is another file that will cause this same occurance. I was unabl
to locate the update KB867778 on any of the four machines exhibitin
this behavior. Additional research revealed that there was a secon
update, KB885835, that would cause the same behavior. I located tha
file and uninstalled it. All is working well again now. Also, on a
XP machine, SP2 will cause this error as well. I had to uninstall SP
from two machines, they now are functioning as expected
