Uninstalling IE 7

A friend of mine has installed the IE 7 Beta 2 version on his PC and now
wants to uninstall it.

I understand if you remove it IE 6 will reinstall. Is the correct way to
remove it via the Add and Remove Programmes?

But I have just realised he has installed it into his My Documents folder.
I don't think IE 7 will now show up in the Add Remove programmes utility, or
will it?

If it doesn't, how therefore can he remove it and have IE 6 automatically
reinstall.

TIA

B.W.

Hi

If IE7 is uninstalled, then Windows will revert to IE6. Make sure that
'Show updates' is enabled at the top of the screen in Add/Remove Programs.

So are you saying he will he see it in the Add and Remove programmes area
but listed at the bottom as and an Update?

Then he can remove it from there?

TIA B.W.

Hi

It's under Internet Explorer 7 - here in Add/Remove Programs - and yes, it
can be removed from there. It could be in a slightly different position
depending on which version is installed.
