that I'm in vista beta 2 I want to upgrade to RC1 but I need to uninstall it.
The problem is that vista doesnt let me do it. I need help

You could try installing then reinstalling.
Otherwise contact Symantec.

A Clean Installation may be necessary if no other way works.

In the future it is best to uninstall, not just disable, anything you or
Vista think may be a problem.

Jupiter:
During an upgrade installation Vista lists potential conflicts but
it's easier to continue rather than stop the installation and remove the
programs. I've had successful upgrades including to 5728 by removing the
conflicts before doing the upgrade installation. From what I've read in
Vista general and x64 that if conflicting programs are installed during an
upgrade the only repair is to perform a custom installation. A solution
would be for the installation to stop at the conflict notification and not
proceed until the conflicts are removed. Following the instructions fully
still works for me and has reduced a lot of headaches.
