I followed the directions for installing a new display driver for my
All-In-Wonder VE: I uninstalled the driver in the XP Add/Remove program.
When I do this, however, the display (NEC LCD1512), gives an "Out of Range"
error on a black screen, even after reboot. I then have to physically
uninstall the AIW card and connect the monitor to the default VGA port. Is
this normal behavior? The way the instructions read is that the AIW should
have some type of default display mode that will allow you to continue using
the monitor connected to the card itself.
Any comments?
