Uninstalling and reinstalling the Certificate Authority on Win2K

Hello:

I configured the VMWare on Win 2K Advanced Server, to use the VMWare for
installing and configuring the Certificate Authority. I have configured the
CA and using it as well. But now, the VMWare is not starting and giving an
error -> Error 6000002. Checked the VMWare site, they say, uninstall and
install the VMWare again.

The question I have is that what will happen to the certificates issued from
the old VMWare? Since the CA will be a new one, do I need to issue the new
certs? What will happen to the revocation of the old certs?

Thanks in advance.

Praveen

1. Certificate Server is not supported on VMWare.

2. Eventually, the previously issued certificates will fail once the CA is
no longer able to start and issue a CRL.
