Uninstalling and reinstalling a printer

Hi. I'm trying to update a printer. It's the Samsung ML-2251N (on port
192.168.0.82). It's at version 1.28. I have downloaded version 5.60 from the
Samsung web site. [Note: there is no uninstaller from add/Remove]. I click on
the option to up date the drivers. i point to where the files are. I choose
the driver. It goes through and still says it's at 1.28 [even after getting
out and back into the printer].

I kill off the printer from Printer & Faxes and do the same thing. It asks
for the port, printer name I want to call it, etc. It asks if I want to
replace the current files and I say yes. Everything goes through but it still
says 1.28!

Any ideas how to completely remove the drivers?

Thanks
