I recently had to reformat my system drive and reinstall Win98SE and
conseqently loss registry files containing uninstall info for programs
installed on other drives prior to reformat. Is there an app similar to
commercial Cleansweep that reads an executable, lists its dependencies and
gives you a selective option to uninstall from the list.

I don't know the direct answer to your question but if you no longer want
the programs, can't you just delete the folders?

I'm not certain it will help in this particular situation, but jv16
Power Tools is a really nice registry program.

If this provides no satisifaction try reinstalling the apps on the
other drive.

Uninstall is generally for the removal of registry entries and files put in
the Windows and System folders. Because all of these are fresh you can just
delete the program folders, there should be no trace of the program after
you do this.
