Hi LovingMingo,

Open the Task Manager, (Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC or right click Task Bar ->
Task Manager), and click on the Processes tab. Click on any
Morpheus.exe listed to highlight it, and click End Process. Now try to
uninstall it.

I know just how you feel, same thing happened to me, in my case it took
over my google toolbar, that horrible feeling of being invaded.
tried system restore - it didn't work. tried to uninstall the programme- got
the message'Morpheus detected to be running', not to my knowledge I thought.
Looked into finding 'last good configuration' decided it was too risky
unless you knew what you were doing.
Spent a sleepless night (I exagerate slightly)
Anyway decided to look at things afresh - noticed the little Morpheus icon
in the bottom right corner - decided to investigate. gave it a right click.
options popped up. Can't remember exactly what I did but remember one of
options said 'active'.
So unticked every box in 'preferences' and I think managed to de-activate it.
Anyway when I went to uninstall it, this time no problem.
Hope this might be some help if not too late....
