uninstall

IE 6 keeps encountering errors and keeps shutting down. I installed Netscape, then tried to uninstall IE 6, in the hopes that I could download it again from the Microsoft site. When I go to "add/remove" it will only let me repair it, and won't let me uninstall it.
Anybody know how I do this. and will it work
 
To reinstall IE6 you first need to change the registry
value by using regedit (Start, Run, type in regedit,
click OK) Then locate the following site

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Installed
Components, 44BBA848-CC51-11CF-AAFA-00AA00B6015C

Click on IsInstalled click on Edit , then Modify and
change the value to 0
Download IE6 SP1 at this site
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6s
p1/default.asp
Reboot the machine
