uninstall

I have tried to remove a game from control panel, remove
and it come up with an error stating the program is
running - close program and try again. the program isn't
running. how do I remove this game? Please help
 
Try rebooting, then removing it. If that doesn't work, boot the computer in Safe Mode and remove it from there.
 
I have booted and tried to remove and it didn't work.
How do you put the computer into safe mode?

Press the F8 key between the BIOS POST Screen, and XP actually starting to load. It may take a few tries to get the timing right.
 
Tahnks for your help Doug. I tried to remove in safe mode
but still gave the same error, Unable to uninstall,
program is still running, close program and try again.
