i would like to uninstall .net framework 1.1 what will
this to to windows xp set up

If you would like to uninstall the .Net Framework 1.1 go ahead, there
shouldn't be any problems at all.

..NET FRamework has nothing to do with Windows XP's Setup. after
uninstalling, programs needing .NET Framework will not run. Thats the only
side effect.
