I downloaded Windows Vista Beta 2. Do I have to re-install Windows XP in
order to get rid of Vista?

If your Windows XP still works, no.
Just format the Vista partition, and reinstall the XP boot by:

1) boot on Vista DVD, click on "System Recovery Options", select the
command line, find on which drive is boot.ini (usually C:), go on the
DVD letter, then on the "boot" folder and run "bootsect.exe /nt52 c:"

or

2) boot on XP CD, repair, command line, then type "fixboot" and
"fixmbr"

Now you just have XP and no dual boot.

i wanna uninstall vista but i dont have a vista dvd to help me get rid of the
dual boot. I downloaded vista and I installed it using the image itself. Is
there any way to get rid of dual boot and vista with just the image?
