i need to know how to uninstall windows 2000, i asume that
if whoever reads this works for microsoft then you
obviously won't tell me because i am getting the impresion
that microsoft is out there just to wrech havoc on my hard
drives. All of my attempts to reformat my drive to erase
all trace of windows 2000 has failed, and i am un able to
locate the files that may put this protocal out that tells
my program not to format MY hard drives. I feel that if
its my hard drive, Microsoft as no jurisdiction of any
such to prevent me from formating it!!! I'm sorry but i
will never buy another microsoft operating system or piece
of software again... I'd much rather learn HexiDecimal
myself and put mr. billy Gates on the street.

Uhhhhhh
What?

If you're booted into Windows and you're trying to format the drive Windows
is on you can't because the files are in use..

Grab a MS-DOS floppy and run fdisk then format

Greetings --

Blaming Microsoft for your own technical ineptitude won't solve
your problem, you know. Learning a little about computers and
operating systems will. Oh, and you do know what they say about
assumptions, don't you?

As you can see, Microsoft even provides clear, easy to follow
instructions:

How to Manually Remove Windows NT or Windows 2000

HOW TO Manually Remove Win2K and Restore Win9x
