uninstall updates

hi all,
I have this kind of problem: after installing win2k updates my pc doesnt
start more; I receive a "STOP: 0X000000A1 (0XDEAD0010, 0X82491030,
0X00000000, 0X00000000)" that seems to be a problem of the internal structure
of pci drivers.
I removed all the PCI cards, but my pc dont start.
So I would like to remove all updates I have installed, but I dont know how
to do it: anyone can help me?!?
My win2k is on ntfs.

You can't if the operating system doesn't start. Try a 'Safe Mode' boot.

If you made an Emergency Repair floppy disk at a date before you
downloaded the win2k updates you could use this to retrieve your system
to where it was previously. You should regularly make ERDs, once a week
for the latest one and also before you install any new hardware or
download system-changing software, labelling and dating them. They only
take a few seconds to make, and can often get you out of a situation
such as the one you are in now.
 
You are right, but I didnt do them; this time I hope I will solve the problem
using John's way, but I think I will start using ERDs too!
