I would like to uninstall some programs that do not come
up on the list in Control Panel, Install/Uninstall
programs. How can I do this? Looking in the program
folder, there is no uninstall exec. Thanks loads.

Thanks for the reply. The one I have always wanted to
uninstall is Outlook Express as it is so vulnerable to
viruses. I just don't see a way to uninstall it. Thanks
anyway. Boni

Boni;
You can't uninstall it. All you can do is remove access to it. i.e.
Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs/Add-Remove Windows
Components. The only way you could actually get rid of it all together would be
to disable Windows File Protection. And that does not look very easy to me.

Vulnerabilities are only exposed if you use a product. Just having OE on the
system does not make the system more vulnerable? OE can be safe to use, if
it is configured and used properly.
