Uninstall problems

I have 2 Messenger Programs installed. One is up to date as Live Messanger
the other is a much older. I do not have a option to uninstall the old
version in my control panel, but, have an option for Live Messanger.
 
Hello,

do you mean the old Windows Messenger 5.1 or older? As far as I know you can
uninstall it through Control Panel -> Add/Remove -> Windows Components where
Windows Messenger should show up. There, click to uninstall.
