Uninstall MSI 3.01

Is it possible to uninstall Windows Installer V 3.01.4000.1823?

I'm working on a test Windows 2K machine and this morning I installed WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe to see if it would solve an installation issue with one of our business app but no luck. This took the installer version from 2.00.2600.1183 to 3.01.4000.1823. I would like to go back to version 2.0 or even 1.1.

Is it possible? I searched all over the net but did not find anything.

Sounds to me like you really want to have a look at VmWare or Virtual PC if you haven't already!
