I have a dell laptop, upgraded from XP to Vista Ultimate with SP1. All
programs installed prior to upgrade have lost the ability to be uninstalled.
In the add/remove programs list - when clicking on a program I want to remove
the uninstall button is missing...on a newer program it will reappear? .. I
have many programs I would like to uninstall but no option to do so. I have
read every post I could find without any luck.
any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Where possible run a reinstallation of the program (even though it is
already installed). Then see if you can uninstall.

Some programs have uninstaller tools on the mfg's website.

Paul

Have you tried Start, Control Panel, Programs and Settings?

Hope this helps

Hi Paul,

Try this little app.....MyUninstaller
The utility is a standalone executable. It doesn't require any installation
process or additional DLL's. Just copy the executable file to any folder you
want, and run it.
