uninstall ie6

is there a way top totally uninstall ie6 so i can do a
fresh install? ie has been hijacked and through many
different way the problem can not be solved.
 
Just go to add/remove programs and click on add/remove windows components and
uncheck the internet explorer
 
I tried and it lloked working. However, I found that I
still have a copy of IE and actually the whole Internet
Explorer is still there but I can't see the program if I
try to use control panel's Add/Remove. I can't manually
delete or relocate the iexplore application, ---error
message says that "access denied".

I am running 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633, update
versions:;SP1; etc. I just bought my Emachine, and IE ran
very fast for target to be either current browser or new
(_blank). Now, it is extremely slow if the target is new
(_blank).

IE cannot be uninstalled in XP.
