Due to modem/driver problems, and a generalised
incompatibility with WinXP or homenetworking in general,
I'm abandoning my ICS enabled network between my 2 pc's
(the host runs XP, client is upgraded from 98 to ME),
because the IP has sent a 2Wire Home Portal.
How (keeping in mind that WinXP is very, very new to me,
and I'm still having to hunt and peck for files) do
I "uninstall" the ICS-enabled network? Is it just a
matter of unchecking all the "Enable ..." boxes in the
properties of each connection, or is there something else
I should do before attempting to install the Home
Portal? The ICF is also enabled, and I will, of course,
need to disable this as well.
Thanks in advance,
