Uninstall help needed

I have a software installed that placed 'bargainbuddy' on my system. I went to
add/remove programs to uninstall the software but when I try, the uninstall
brings up another (non related) software that it wants to uninstall. It looks
like this trojans sending software fakes the add/remove operation in the
control panel somehow (check a few others and they all point to the correct
software).

First, how can I uninstall this software? There is no uninstall exe in the
directory.

Second, how, after I get it uninstalled can I update my add/remove software
window in the control panel so that it removes the reference to this software?

I am using 2000 Pro

on my machine and get it out of the add/remove software window
