uninstall beta Defender

Attempts to uninstall beta Defender or upgrade result in "invalid H: drive"
(disconnected "storage" drive). Makes no sense as Defender was installed on
C: Any suggestions as to how to eliminate the reference to the H: drive to
eliminate this problem would be appreciated.
