uninstall AVG

I apologise if this has been addressed before - can anyone tell me how I can
do a complete uninstall of AVG 7 please. I've used the windows uninstaller
but it doesn't get rid of everything and I can't now get Norton AV to
install at all.

Any help appreciated.

Remove the Grisoft directory with all the shit that is left in it.
Search the registry for instances of AVG (quite a few) and remove sensibly (some
non-Grisoft files might start with avg)

To be honest it only asked for one re-boot which I did. But I did notice a
message on the windows uninstaller saying that it was unable to stop 2
services.
