I was told that there was once an issue with uninstalling 2000 and installing 97. And then uninstalling 97 and reinstalling 2000. That there was problems with the Databases and the licensing that is involved with access. Can you tell me if that would be the same issue if we were to do this with 2003 and 2000? Any help would be great. Thanks

You may have heard that installing Access 97 after Access 2000 had been
installed caused an error message to be displayed "Microsoft Access can't
start because there is no license for it on this machine".

There wasn't actually any problem from a licensing perspective: there was a
bug, usually caused by a font, of all things, that caused that message to be
generated.

What you're describing is legitimate.

the font (acc'2000) hatten.ttf must be renamed prior to installing '97
(should be renamed back afterwards)
