Hello

In Control Panel / Uninstall a program ; May of the programs listed have
no date under 'Last used on' . Does this mean the prog has never been used ?
and is therefore safe to uninstall ?

There are so many programs in the list that I dont recognise. Is there a way
of finding out what they all actualy do ? Should I Google them or something
?

Thanks

Googling would be a very good idea as you have given no clue as to what some
of these programs are called..

Hi, and thanks.

The reason I didn't give any clues as to what the programs are called is
simply that there are so many of them.

Googling does help, though I often find conflicting advice there as to
whether or not it is safe to uninstall a program.

My 1st question concerned the entry under 'Last used on' , and whether or
not a missing value there is informative or misleading.

Thanks again for your help.

'Last used' could be a clue.

Look down the list and make a note of what you think that you use. Add to
that list, Adobe Flash, Java, and anything Microsoft.

Feel free to uninstall whatever is not on your list, but be aware that
anything you uninstall can't easily be put back unless you have the
installation media..
