Windows is telling me when I start up that a certain driver is incompatible
and has been blocked. So, instead of continuing to get this alert each time
I start I'd rather uninstall it. I can't find the driver in the device
manager or add/remove programs. Does anyone know where else to look?

The blocked driver in question is some Sonic something Driver.

hello... can you try this? http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

if that driver is listed you will find where the file of the driver is...

you can then rename that file to blabla.sys.BAK

I have not done this with Vista yet but it works with XP... and I guess it
should with vista too.

tell me if this helps

Hi,

You should be able to tell in the event viewer. You may simply need to
update the software for the associated device.
