unhiding several columns

I know that when you want to unhide several columns that
you are suppose to select the column before and after the
hidden area, then go to Format, Column and Unhide. I did
that BUT nothing unhides. Just stays the same. I know I
can drag the columns open but we are talking way too many
columns to do that. I've hidden from column J to column
BL. Any ideas I sure can use your help.
 
Select your whole sheet by clicking the empty box at the upper lef
where the row/column labels intersect, then unhide or double click
column edge. Should get all the columns.

The columns might not be hidden, they might be sized wrong. If that doesn't work, select the column before and the column after and set your column width to 1.0 That will make them big enough to grab and small enough to see what's going on
