Unhiding a hidden envelope in systems tray

A few days ago, I noticed that the system tray on my PC
was displaying the envelope icon, despite me not having
any new, unread, messages in Outlook (2002, FYI).

Right-clicking on it, I found a hide option.

Foolishly, as it would seem, I elected to hide it assuming
that when the next, valid, e-mail arrived the envelope
would re-appear. As you have probably guessed by now this
hasn't been the case.

Any suggestions on how I could get it back again?

Thanks in anticipation.
