Ungroup Pie Charts

Why can't I ungroup a pie chart in power point so that all the slices can be
managed seperately.
 
In 2003 and prior -- double click to "enter" the chart. Then click once to
select the pie chart. The select any piece of the pie and drag it out. All
pieces will pull out from the center. To put the back -- do the same
thing -- pushing the piece into the center.

Post back if that doesn't work for you.
 
Doesn't work. The grouping option is grayed out. I am creatiing the pie
chart in powerpoint using the add chart button. I can see the excel
worksheet where the data fields are and I can see the chart on the slide. I
try to click on the group option and it is gray so that option is
unavailable. I am wondering if there is something I need to do to "unlock"
the pie so I can edit it. I need to manipulate pick certain slices to group
and I can only choose 1 slice at a time. I can move the slices out from the
center and I can change the color.
