Hey! Can someone help me? Every time my computer sets
idle, when I turn it back on, I get a pop-up
saying, "This computer is in use and has been locked.
Only YOUR-3145AAEMKG/Betty B. Hurston or an administrator
can unlock this computer." If I click OK, it goes away
temporarily; however, it comes back the next time I pull
up my desktop. Can you tell me what this is all about
and how to get rid of it?

Also, somehow, in my Status Line, I have an insert which
appears to be from my web browser, similar to this: "e
(atop a sheet of paper) ==-Microsoft Intern..." Can you
tell me how to get rid of this and how it got on my
status bar.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

You might try going to the Control Panel, Power Options and select the
Advanced tab. See if the check box for "Prompt for password when computer
resumes from Stand By" is checked. If so, un check it.

Hope this helps, Ed
