Just recently, everytime I log on to the internet, I
recieved two error messages.

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a
problem and needs to close. ..

and another tells me that the RPC service terminated
unexpectedly.. initiated by NT Authority/Sys and then my
computer shuts down on me.

Is there any way for me to fix this problem so that the
problem cease to happen? Thank you.

If your computer is constantly attempting to shutdown
or reboot, quickly go to:

Start > Run and type: shutdown -a , and hit enter.

This should halt the rebooting problem.

Then immediately turn-on Windows XP's built-in Firewall:

You have an unwelcome visitor known as the WM32 Blaster/Lovsan worm.
It entered your computer through your internet connection because the "firewall"
was not properly enabled and essential critical updates were not installed from
the Windows Update website. For instructions on fixing the problem, visit:

http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_msblast.htm and follow
the instructions.

After fixing the problem, visit the following web sites:

Last, but not least, consider purchasing and installing a comprehensive
internet security package, such as:

Norton Internet Security 2003
http://www.symantec.com/sabu/nis/nis_pe/

-- Includes Norton AntiVirus 2003
-- Includes Norton Personal Firewall
-- Automatically updates itself
-- Includes prevention of annoying web pop-ups
-- Includes Parental Controls
-- All in one, easy-to-install & manage package
